FilingGrid operates FilingGrid, a Chrome extension focused on exporting financial tables from supported finance pages into Google Sheets or CSV. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what we do not do with it.
What we collect
- Account information such as your email address and basic profile details when you sign in with Google.
- Subscription and billing identifiers needed to manage paid plans through Stripe, such as Stripe customer and subscription IDs.
- Usage data needed to enforce plan limits and improve reliability, such as export counts, source site, plan type, export success or failure, and related timestamps.
- Basic support and operational information, such as messages you send to us and server logs needed to diagnose errors, abuse, or outages.
How we use information
- To authenticate your account and keep your plan status in sync.
- To meter exports for the free plan and unlock paid entitlements for Pro subscribers.
- To process hosted billing through Stripe and give you access to self-serve billing management.
- To monitor product health, understand basic funnel events, and improve export reliability on supported sites.
Google authentication and Google Sheets
FilingGrid uses Google sign-in so you can authenticate your account and export tables to Google Sheets. Google access tokens are used to authenticate with Google services. FilingGrid is designed to use these tokens for the requested workflow only and not for unrelated data use.
Financial page data
FilingGrid is built to move table data from supported pages into your spreadsheet workflow. We do not position the product as a data brokerage service, and we do not sell your personal data.
Payments
Payments and subscription management are handled through Stripe. We do not store full payment card details on our own servers.
Data sharing
We may share information with service providers that are necessary to operate the product, such as hosting, authentication, and billing providers. We do not sell your personal data.
Retention
We retain account, subscription, and usage information for as long as needed to operate FilingGrid, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse.
Your choices
You can stop using the extension at any time, manage your paid subscription through the billing portal, and contact us if you want to request deletion of your account information where applicable.
